The Basic Intro class teaches you everything you need to start working independently in the studio- from wedging to glazing. If you've never touched clay - or never heard of the ceramics cycle- this is where to start! This class is meant to be taken over a series of months; for a one-time event, try a private lesson.

This class presents the finer points of ceramics once you understand the basics and want to go further in making more personal forms and surfaces. Beginners who have taken 6 classes of Basic Intro are welcome!

The Elementary School Clay class teaches kids all the basics of handbuilding, wheel-throwing, altering forms and finishing surfaces while encouraging them to use their imaginations, hands, and social skills. These classes provide an opportunity for kids to develop their creativity, curiosity, and fine-motor skills while working in a fun environment with their peers.

FIRING IS EXTRA! If your child wants to bring a piece to completion they will need a Firing Ticket. Please add one on to your order!

The Teen Clay class (ages 12 to 16) teaches kids all the basics of handbuilding, wheel-throwing, altering forms and finishing surfaces while encouraging them to use their imaginations, hands, and social skills. Have a great date, a fun outing with a friend, or meaningful family time at the studio! Your instructor will demonstrate basic forms on the wheel or table and then guide you through the steps to make your own. Students usually have enough time to try a second piece more independently after instruction and guided practice. A private lesson for 2 people is on the wheel or at the hand-building table for two hours. We now offer an optional clean up service- please add on and we'll clean for you.

Firing is .065 cents a cubic inch (^04 or ^6)- we do not rent whole kilns.
There is a $4.50/piece min.
